About My Practice

As a mother of a child with learning differences, I have a passion for coming alongside different learners and helping them find a way to access curriculum and "show what they know." Teaching a student how to learn, restores self-confidence, and leads to increased independence.

I am a licensed psychologist practicing in the greater Nashville area. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah in 1997. Prior to starting my private practice in ADHD Coaching and Educational Therapy I worked as a psychologist in educational settings such as the University Counseling Center at the University of Utah, Counseling and Mental Health Services at the University of Rochester, and Currey Ingram Academy, in Brentwood Tennessee. My scientific research in clinical and educational psychology has been cited over 1300 times.

Figuring out why a child is struggling and what to do about it is my passion!  As a mother of a child with learning differences you can trust that I understand the stressors that you may be facing. I am here to personally walk you through this part of your child's educational journey.
